Academic credibility requires full transparency. Learn how specialized accreditation governs EIASM’s doctoral curriculum, research standards, and faculty supervision.
The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), a premier educational accreditation body recognised by CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation) in the United States, officially lists EIASM’s Doctorate in Business Administration among programmes granted specialised/programmatic accreditation.
* Important institutional notice: IACBE accredits the specified business programmes, NOT the entire institution. EIASM never suggests blanket institutional accreditation, and all accreditation statements are verifiable via the official public record below.
All 180 credits—comprising 8 core analytical courses and the 60-credit dissertation—are structured around measurable executive competencies and applied research standards.
Teaching staff and thesis supervisors combine university lecturers, researchers, consultants, and industry specialists to bridge theoretical frameworks with executive practice.
The programme upholds strict standards of research integrity, continuous quality benchmarking, and ethical governance across both private and public sectors.
Most senior leaders reach a point where the ability to analyze, research, and contribute original thinking becomes the real differentiator. EIASM’s flagship DBA is built for established leaders ready to turn years of business experience into an original contribution to knowledge.
Designed for established leaders with a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years of senior managerial experience
Established leaders in executive or senior management roles with strategic responsibility who want to formalise their expertise through doctoral research.
Independent consultants, partners and senior advisors who want to enhance their credibility and expand their research capability to serve clients at the highest level.
Academics and senior practitioners preparing to teach, supervise and research at MBA programs and business schools – where the DBA is increasingly expected.
Entrepreneurs and owner-leaders of established ventures who want the analytical depth and credibility to shape their industry, not just compete in it.
Experienced professionals who want the most advanced business qualification – and the doctoral title – without leaving their current positions.
Non-executive directors, board members and investors who want the doctoral credibility to evaluate, govern and shape the businesses they back – not just operate within them.

Clear, authoritative answers regarding accreditation, curriculum structure, supervision, and admissions.
The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) is a leading specialized accreditation body recognised by CHEA in the United States. Programmatic accreditation signifies that EIASM’s Doctorate in Business Administration has undergone thorough peer review to verify curriculum rigor, faculty qualifications, and student learning outcomes.
Important distinction: IACBE accredits specific business programmes—including EIASM’s DBA—rather than the institution as a whole. You can verify this in the official IACBE public record (PDF).
The DBA programme is designed specifically for working executives, senior consultants, and directors. There are no mandatory live attendance sessions or fixed-time webinars. You study asynchronously using our digital learning management system, reviewing course materials and preparing chapter drafts on evenings or weekends. Most candidates dedicate 8–12 hours per week to complete the degree within 1 to 3 years.
Upon acceptance and proposal approval, you are paired with a doctoral supervisor whose scholarly focus and industry background match your chosen specialisation. You collaborate one-on-one via asynchronous milestone reviews, written feedback, and scheduled video consultations to draft your proposal, design empirical research instruments, analyze findings, and prepare for the thesis defense.
Total tuition for the complete 180-credit DBA is €7,900. If you choose single upfront payment upon acceptance, a published €300 discount is applied, reducing total tuition to €7,600. Alternatively, you may pay in up to four equal quarterly instalments of €1,975 during your first 12 months with 0% interest and no administration charges.
No travel is mandatory. The final viva voce dissertation defense can be conducted virtually via secure video conference with the examination committee. Upon successful completion, you are invited to attend the annual graduation ceremony in historic Prague to receive your doctoral insignia in person. If you prefer not to travel, you can graduate in absentia, and your official diploma and transcripts are delivered via secure courier.
